Bishop Chikamba has called on families and church members to prioritize education for the girl child, saying young women should attain at least five O’ Level passes before considering marriage.

The bishop made the remarks today during a seminar for male congregants held at the Judea ZCC Headquarters, where he addressed issues of leadership, discipline, spiritual growth, and family responsibility within the church.

Speaking during the gathering, Bishop Chikamba emphasized that education is becoming increasingly important in modern society and encouraged parents to support girls in completing their studies. He stressed that academic achievement should not be rushed and that perseverance in education must be encouraged even when success takes time.

“Hakuna mwana unowanikwa asina 5 O levels, chero akaita makore matatu achinyorera ndiye anenge azvinonotsa kuwanikwa,” said the bishop.

His statement drew attention among congregants, with many viewing it as a strong message aimed at empowering young women through education while also promoting responsibility among families and communities.

Bishop Chikamba also encouraged church members to embrace transformation and move in line with the vision of their leaders. He said unity, obedience, and willingness to adapt are important for the growth and progress of the church.

The seminar attracted male congregants from different regions and served as a platform for discussing moral values, leadership, and the role of members in strengthening both their families and the church community.
