Pride Joseni: Judea ZCC Media
His Grace Bishop Chikamba of the Judea Zion Christian Church (Judea ZCC) delivered a powerful and compassionate message to church members during the Midlands 2 Zone Outreach Program held in Zvishavane. His address came at a time when many countries in Southern Africa are facing serious challenges caused by heavy rains and destructive floods.
Bishop Chikamba called upon Zimbabweans to lift their eyes beyond their own borders and remember neighboring nations that are suffering.
He mentioned Mozambique, Malawi, South Africa, Zambia, and all other countries in Southern Africa, many of which have experienced loss of life, destruction of homes, damaged infrastructure, and displacement of families due to excessive rainfall.
In his address, Bishop Chikamba strongly encouraged unity through prayer, saying:
“Let us unite together in prayer. Let us pray for our country and also for the countries around us, that they may be protected from the danger of heavy rains that are destroying lives and property.”
He emphasized that prayer is not only a spiritual duty but also an expression of love, compassion, and responsibility toward one another. According to Bishop Chikamba, when one nation suffers, the whole region feels the pain, and it is important for the church to stand as a pillar of hope during such difficult times.
The Bishop further reminded the congregation that the church has a role to play in bringing comfort, faith, and encouragement to communities affected by disasters. He urged members to remain strong in faith, to support one another, and to continue praying for peace, protection, and restoration across the region.
During the same gathering, Bishop Chikamba also encouraged members of Judea ZCC to actively participate in church programs. He called on them to attend the upcoming Outreach Programs scheduled for this week with Manjirenji Zone, Nhema Zone, and Ngundu Zone. He explained that these outreach programs are important opportunities for spiritual growth, unity among believers, and collective prayer for the nation and the region.
He concluded his message by reminding the congregation that Southern Africa is one family, bound together by shared challenges and shared hope. In times of crisis, he said, unity, prayer, and faith can bring strength and healing to both individuals and nations.
His Grace Bishop Chikamba’s message left the congregation encouraged, spiritually uplifted, and reminded of the importance of standing together in prayer during this season of hardship.
