Judea Zion Christian Church (Judea ZCC) is a vibrant Christian denomination founded in 1923 by Reverend Saul Maguta “Chikamba” Mawewe following a divine encounter and calling from God. Headquartered at Muchechetere Village in Zaka District, Zimbabwe, the church has grown from humble beginnings into a thriving spiritual movement that continues to impact lives across Southern Africa and beyond.

For more than a century, Judea ZCC has remained rooted in the Word of God and guided by the power of the Holy Spirit. The church is committed to preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, promoting spiritual growth, prayer, healing, prophecy, discipleship, and community transformation. Through worship, evangelism, and compassionate service, we strive to bring hope, love, and God’s saving grace to all people.

The church’s rich legacy was strengthened under the leadership of Dr. Ofiro Mawewe (Chikamba II), who expanded the ministry across Zimbabwe and into several countries including South Africa, Mozambique, Botswana, Zambia, the United Kingdom, Australia, Poland, and other parts of the world. His leadership established educational institutions, supported vulnerable communities, and laid the foundation for major developmental projects that continue to serve God’s people today.

Today, under the leadership of Bishop Reverend Emmanuel Mawewe (Chikamba III), Judea ZCC continues to advance its mission of proclaiming the Gospel, empowering communities, and building God’s Kingdom through worship, outreach, education, healing ministries, and humanitarian service. The church remains focused on spiritual revival, infrastructure development, and global partnerships that will impact future generations.
