Muchechetere, Zaka Jerera — A powerful message of unity, humility, and spiritual growth took center stage at the Senior Staff Seminar held at the Judea Zion Christian Church (ZCC) Headquarters in Muchechetere.

The seminar, which brought together elders, ministers, pastors, and their spouses, was marked by a strong call to refocus on the true purpose of church leadership.

Addressing the gathering, Bishop Chikamba emphasized that leadership in the church should not be driven by competition for positions. “Hakuna munhu unofanira kurowera mumwe chigaro,” he said, stressing that no one should fight for positions within the church.

Bishop Chikamba urged members to prioritize spiritual growth above titles, reminding them that their primary role is to serve God faithfully. He called on leaders to dedicate themselves to prayer and to remember that they are, first and foremost, servants and members of the church.

“Let us focus on working for a good life after death and forget about positions,” he added, highlighting the importance of eternal life over temporary recognition.

In a message that resonated across generations, the Bishop also encouraged unity within the church by bridging the gap between the older and younger generations. He stressed the need for harmony and cooperation so that all members can grow together in faith.
